- Fill 1/3 of your bowl with hot water to preheat it. To soften the prongs of your whisk, dip them in the same bowl.
- Then, pour the water out and dry the bowl with a clean cloth.
- Next, you want to add ½ tsp of matcha powder to the bottom of the warm bowl – either sift it or break the clumps with the prongs of your whisk.
- Add ~70 ml of hot (not boiling!) water, and then whisk the mixture with one hand while holding the bowl in the other hand. Whisk in “W” motion vigorously until thick, creamy froth forms. Yum!
